Default Wacom Tablets - Cintiq

I spend a lot of time in front of a screen enhancing my photos with Photoshop. To help me I'm considering the purchase of a Wacom Cintiq. I'm wondered if anybody else has had any experience with them. I'm interested about how, if at all, you colour (I'm from the UK hence the spelling)calibrate a LCD screen. Any advice would be grateful.

Thanks, Nick

i use a intuos 6x8. it was like learning to ride a bike all over again. but it is more precise then a mouse.

depending on what lcd screen you have will a great difference on your ability to wysiwyg on screen. cal can be done using a colorvision cal tool and software. again the latitude is screen mfgr related. crts still are a bit more tweakable.
