Default Canon G3 vs Canon A80

What do you think? doest it make sense to pay additionaly $150 for a standard G3 bundle than for a standard A80 bundle?

It all depends on your individual needs.

The Canon has a faster lens (F2.0/F3.0), so it is better suited for available light photography, and will allow faster shutter speeds (to help prevent blur from camera shake/subject movement), for the same lighting conditions and ISO speed. F2.0 is twice as bright as F2.8.

In addition to comparing features, you may also want to try out the cameras in a store, to see which one "fits" you better from an ergonomics perspective, too.
