Since the lens adapters cost about $50 each, and the holder costs about $70, and that's what you need before you can use a single filter, you'd have to be serious about it. But the results are extraordinary, and my guess is that the results would surpass the best that post processing had to offer.

There's a bigger and more diverse selection of Cokin filters than conventional circular filters, and they can be applied in more creative ways.
