Default Help! Very strange phenomenon...

Recently, my Canon SX200 IS camera was sold and shipped across the country. Upon arrival the camera was taking pictures that looked technicolored...yellows, purples, greens in some areas. All I can think of is that it was jarred too much or got too hot during usps shipping... (The country was experiencing 100 degrees temps!) Is it possible some part of the camera or SD card was ruined in transit?? Anyone?? Thanks!

Well, not the SD card, but yes, it's possible that the camera was damaged in transit, and that's what's causing the color in the images to be distorted.

Try hitting the "reset of factory settings" button/menu choice.

Not really likely to solve the problem, but it is cheap, easy and completely nondestructive. First thing to try.
