Default Fuji Finepix A210 just stopped transfering images

I have a Fuji Finpix A210 that I got a few weeks ago, with my new Dell 8300. I figured it was a cheap way to begin learning about digital cams. Experimenting and stuff has gone fine, and I've even managed to transfer a few hundred pics to play with. But today, when I connected it to the USB cable, it comes up with a symbol on the camera that looks like a green button and a disk with 2 way arrows, and DSC. It works as a camera, and I can preview the images, but I can no longer transfer them. When I turn it off or on, the computer makes a windows sound (2 notes) like it connected and disconnected, but I can no longer transfer images. Any ideas? I don't recall changing anything, and have just been bulk copying what was shot, to edit later.
Bob, newbie.
