Default what to buy for 200-250$?

Hi guys,

i'm looking for a digital camera and i dont know what to look for.
I need your help. Don't ask me what features i'm lookin for, because i have no idea. It should be up to 250$. On Ebay i found
Fuji S3000, Canon z740, Minolta z2. Any thoughts on these?
Other suggestions? Any kind of help highly appreciated.
Thanks i advance.

I truly don;t know anything about those you mention but I suggest reading Steve's reviews and compare his conculsions. I started with a Nikon Coolpix 2100 and loved it except for landscape shots and portraits (people) past about 6 feet.Close up and macro are fantastic with the 2100 and all other Nikon Collpix lines.I'd consider a 3100 or the best you can afford in your range.

Now that the Canon A75 is out, you should be able to get an A70 for that price range. I think it's the most capable camera for the price.

Hi, New myself to digital. I bought the Fuji 3000 on Ebay.com & what an easy camera to use for a first timer, not hard to put in your XD card & fire away, of course there are manual settings but for ease of use it is spot on.

Good Luck.
