I think I am finally starting to get the idea. Better late than never.

You should get a set op spare interchargeable batteries. Check that they have no less power than 2000 mAh. I could imagine that yours are less than 1700mAh. And if you get a fastcharger too (lots of expenses here... ) you will be able to bring the camera on to your next vacation without worrying about batteries.
The docking station that comes with the Kodak charges my current set of Ni-mh batteries in about 2.5 hours. So I guess it already qualifies as a fast charger. One less expense. :mrgreen:

I checked www.yourbatteries.co.uk but their highest rated rechargeable batteries are 1800Mah. I'll keep looking around.
