Default battery help

Just got a set of Kodak 1850 ni-mh batteries and the maha-2a4 charger, can I put the batteries in the charger and leave them indefinately?

Yes. The charger senses when the batteries are charged and reduces current. I normally have one set in the charger all the time. I have three sets of batteries. Whenever the batteries in the camera need charging, I'll rotate the freshest charge to the bag, put the ones that were in the bag in the camera, and put the discharged ones in the charger. NiMH batteries lose charge over time, so you want to freshen the charge at least once a month.

I don't know if they've fixed this or not, but be aware that there was a quirk with the original C-204 chargers. You MUST have the charger plugged in before you insert the batteries. Otherwise it can overheat dangerously.
