s5100 stumpedednessism

ok so how do i turn off all of those "cute" little stock noises that are on the camera when you buy it, and is there any way to zoom in while in movie mode?

sorry its a FUJI s5100

The review that I read (on this site) stated that the zoom was not usable during movie recording but could only be adjusted beforehand.
Dunno about the sounds. But that's usually an option in the setup menu if it's available.

Grant is correct. The sounds can be turned off by accessing the Setupmenu. See page 81 of your manual. The zoom is turned off during movie capture so the sound of the lens motor isn't picked up. You can preset the zoom and focus toframe the shot but once the you press the shutter button to start recording, the zoom is deactivated.
