Can I use my Minolta 35mm AF film camera lenses on the digital SLR cameras?

Any lenses designed forMinolta Maxxum or Dynax camera models (Minolta Autofocus lens mount), will will work on the Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D or Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D, and they'll all have the benefits of antishake.

Note that because the sensor in these models is smaller than 35mm film (as you'll find with other DSLR models in this market niche), your lenses will havethe same angle of view as a lens with a 1.5x longer focallength would haveon aMinolta 35mm camera.

For example,a 50mm lens on one of the Konica MinoltaDSLR models would have the same angle of view asa 75mm lens would ona Maxxum or Dynax 35mm camera (50mm x 1.5 = 75mm). So, all of your lenses will appear to be "longer" when used on one of these DSLR models.

Make sure to visit our dedicated Konica Minolta DSLR Forum, where you'll find forum members with Konica Minolta DSLR models that can answer any questions you may have.

I'll be getting one of these cameras, and I've been buying some Minolta AF lenses over thepast couple of months to use on one.

I see this is your first post here. So, Welcome to the Forums!

Thanks so much Jim!!Was hoping I might be able toput those lenses to use again. They've been rather neglected since I went digitala few years ago. Also gives memore$ to invest in the camera itself if need be.

Love this site!! Full of helpful info of all kinds!
