lg, what about using burst (sequential) mode in this situation, to increase the chances of a sharp shot? I do this with low light mountain biking shoots in the forest gloom. Unaccountably, the second or third shot in the 3 shot sequence (shq-10 shots with hq) will be sharper than the others. Caught a pause in the camera shake, I suppose. Many of these have shot at 1/30 sec., and 200 or 400 iso. I have to run them through Neat Image to remove noise, of course.

Also, wouldn't having auto bracketing be useful here?

Why can't they use the redeye mode as focus assist on a 602? Must be an obvious reason why not.

I agree on the high ISO to get a pic. Even at 1Mpix, I think there is less noise than with a 1Mpix cam.
