Default Okay, new help for my mother

She is not a technical person at all and wants to spend about 200 dollars. Is it even worth her getting a digicam? I haven't even bothered to go over the specs w/ her. She won't do anything but point and shoot w/ it. I want her to have something that has good color, and picture clarity. She will not be doing any dark room stuff either. She will point and shoot, get the pics printed somewhere.

She's probably going to want something simple that she can grip.

For P'nS, I would recommend going with something like the Nikon CoolPix 2100.

It's a little bit more than $200... Not too much more, though.

Check out the Fuji 2650, usually runs $199 at Ritz and Wolf camera, probably cheaper if you check around.
(Try BHPhotovideo.com). I am considering getting this camera for my son for his birthday.
