I am looking for a digital camera and the important features I am looking for are:

[1] Negligible shutter lag

[2] Bright pictures indoors (i.e. a powerful flash) and ofcourse outdoors too :-)

[3] And, last but not the least great sharp crisp images :-)

I have shortlistedCanon SD600 and Sony W70.

Can anyone please suggest which oe should I buy?

Thanks a lot in advance!

I just made this decision tonight , well it was a IXUS750 or SD550 or a WC70 and it was a tough one. My decision was the Cannon (hope im right) any way here goes,

The WC70was alot lighter and a tad smaller and I thought the super imposed wheel menu on the screen + with discription help was a really great touch. And the battery life was better

The menu nearly swung it for me!

However I already had a lot of SD cards around and believe that the cannon has a sharper image and screen display. I then find out that the sony has upto iso1400 so potentially better in the dark than my new cannon at iso400?

I think if I had not had theSD cards around I would have bought the Sony. But then again I also believe I have got sharper images with the cannon and was £20 less.

Like I said it's very close. With the 600 you will gain slightlywith ax4 optic zoom but you will lose 1gig of pixels I think.
