Hello and good day,

I had the opportunity to look at a D2Xs in more detail - my review of the D2Xs can be found at http://www.gnyman.com/NikonD2XS.htm. Other reviews can be found by browsing through my homepage.

I do appreciate comments and suggestions - thanks for looking!

Hi Georg,

I have read your review and like what I read... I am only getting into serious photography now after many many years of taking photographs in my job. (Australian Federal Police surveillance and now Private Investigator.)

I recently bought a D200 and love it... a great handling camera and feature packed that will kep me very happy for years to come... then I saw this ad in an Australian Nikon club classified ad.

Nikon D2X
Nikkor lens AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED 3
Nikkor lens AF VR Zoom-Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED 4
1GB Sanisk extreme III
4GB Sandisk extreme III 6.
Manfrotto monopod
Black Pelican Case with spare complete insert.

and the price.....

well let me just say, I took out a small loan with a mate, using my beloved kawasaki 1100 mororcycle as colateral...

Then flew to Sydney (from Melbourne) and bought the camera and equipment for the price of a new D2X.

I now am completely set up with cameras... now to get shooting.

Cheers g
