I wouldn't hold my breath. Typically firmware updates are released to fix problems. by all accounts the D50 has been relatively problem free. These are nice updates, but frankly I doubt most D50 users would even care about these features, let alone bother to update the firmaware. Also, the fact that the D50 may be on its way out of the lineup, dimishes the possibility of an upgrade. Technology leaps forward and older models and products slowly get left behind. Nikons focus is on product development, not on tweaking and enhancing product already out there.

Frankly, even if I needed the firmware upgrade, I doubt I would sign this petition, as it is poorly written with lots of grammatical errors. The arguments should at least be presented professionally if they hope to have any impact.
