Hello folks!

Today I own a KM Maxxum/Dynax 7D camera, & I'm thinking forward to buy a D-40 together with the 18/200 VR-2 zoom lens.

Checking deeply I read that the "Default' color mode on the newer D-40 is sRGB-3 instead the sRGB-1 as other Nikon cameras. which is better as wrote; for "Landscapes"...adding more red & green accentuated color...instead the sRGB-1 which is more "Natural". For instance for my common use this "Default"...is NOT for me...as I want to make portraits & buildings mostly; per example.

Now why I'm asking to you dear Nikon lovers & erudite users, comparing with my KM camera which as from the instruction manual, have "Natural Color" or "Natural +" & the last one "Embed Adobe RGB". The D-40 Nikon also has 3 Color mode facilities, I want to know which of such 3 ones in my KM is similarly to the "default" setting...sRGB-3 in the newer D-40 body?:P

Please accept my heart fully apologies for my bad English, as my native mother land language is Spanish. :!:

Thanks so much in advance for your lovely & heart fully explanation:idea:
