I recently purchased a Nikon D50 and i want to switch from Auto to Program AE mode
(P mode), because i want to adjust sharpening and have control over the flash.
In P mode the ISO value stays at 200 and my pictures are somewhat underexposed even when using flash. Can someone explain what max shutterspeed is setting ISO AUTO.

See page91 of the manual; Auto ISO is not available in P, A, S or M modes but must be user-set...
