Hi all
My last camera was Nikon coolpix 8400. Now I am going to buy d40x, but have some questions. I am not proffesional so first queston is how many lenses I can expect to have in the future? If I have d40x with nikkor 18-135, what I am considering, and in the future maybe wide prime lens or zoom, say 10-20mm, and telephoto , say 70-200 or sim. When I would use wide one, I will most probably make panorama pic where do not need autofocus, will be infinity, also when I need extra tele, I will again make pics from distant object and again do not need autofocus. Please comment my consideration. Thanks for any comment.

The budget approach, which I used with my Nikon D-40X, was to combine the kit lens with the economical 55-200mmVR lens. The 55-200mmVR lens is quite good and capable of good IQ. It makes for a budget solution. I considered the 18-135mm lens, but wanted a VR solution.
