While playing with my d200 and snapping some test photos, I pushed play back and the screen went black. I had to power off and then on again for the LCD to work. But when I did that, the screen said " No images contained on this folder". EVERYTHING WAS GONE! When I removed the battery grip, this no longer happened...why is this??? HELP!

There are similar stories in the various forums about this problem. Some threads claim it is caused by the battery not being properly seated and recommend using a piece of electrical tape as a shim on the battery door to push the battery up higher thus making better contact.

Make sure the grip is properly installed so the battery contacts are properly seated in the camera.
