I am receiving my D200 today. How do I check to see if it is new?

First, do you have a reason to suspect that it is not new?? Did you buy from a reputable source??

You can check the number of shutter clicks with one of many free programs, like Irfanview. The shutter count will be embedded in the EXiF info.

Be aware that it is not unusual for even a new camera to have a few clicks on it. I've seen reports clicks being anywhere from a few up to 20-30. If it's less than 100 or so, i really wouldn't worry about it. The D200 shutter is rated for over 100,000 clicks.
