Agree, the 85 1.8G is super sharp, fast focusing and also would be great for portraits.

I also agree, keep the 35mm F/1.8. On a crop sensor camera, the 35mm F/1.8 is just like a "nifty fifty". Sell or trade the 50mm F/1.8 for the superb 85mm F/1.8.
