Any Nikon D3 owners here? Don't see many posts on the D3.
I just got mint one recently. I like to see what you like and don't like about the D3. I really like mine so far, especially the fast fps & low light ability.

Its a heck of a body, no doubt. It has certainly changed the way I shoot. The AF just plain works. I didn't think I'd ever use high ISOs, but I just shoot in places I wouldn't have thought of shooting before. Indoors in crappy light is now possible. Sun is going down and the action hasn't slowed, just keep the shutter speed and crank the ISO.
Impressive machine, impressive speed, , impressive battery life, impressive files, and it does just about anything you ask of it. You will enjoy it for a long, long time, i'm sure. |

I just added a mint AF Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED lens to my collection.
I'm pretty happy with my setup now...

Not many here have or had the D3?
What is your favorite lens with the D3? I really like the 80-200mm f/2.8 A close second is the 35-70mm f/2.8

Not a D3, but the 24-70 f/2.8 would have worked nicely on it as well:

I liked that last shot! A little more cropping would have made it even better.
