I replied a few minutes ago to your post and for some reason it is no longer here

William, I was planning to post some pictures of a lighthouse in Newport RI and I noticed there are no pictures in my gallery form that trip so I changed my mind and posted the ones from Maine and I forgot to delete RI from the subject, I edited and than you for mentioning.

Ah, now I understand...

Will you post the ones from Newport later...? I'm originally from Attleboro, MA so I love
images from all over New England...

Just picked up an old SB20 flash for cheap... It's my first off-camera flash so I'm
experimenting/learning, am I on the right track...?

Nikon FE with 35 f2.5E and 100 f2.8E

Shot with D7k and 50mm f1.8 AI @ f11 / 1/125 / ISO 200 / SB20 (in manual-bounce with white card)

Shot at a carousel I took this past weekend. About a 50% reduction in resolution and over 50% in size.

Beautiful lighting on a beautiful young lady. Love the high contrasting pink on her lips together with the black dress and silver/white accesories. Only suggestion would be to straighten the picture (ref. the left side verticle).

Thank you Wingman. I asked permission to take the photo during a pause in conversation she was having and this was a one-shot deal. D600 and Sigma 17-50 2.8 HSM DC. I had noticed the lighting was good where she was standing. On camera flash fill.
