Default D100 vrs D70

Ok, the body of the D100 is better, but what are the pros and cons of each other? I have been heaing about under exposure issues with the D70. It seems that Steve's review of both cameras as well as the review in Dpreview both appear to have less negative things about the D100 in the final product of the picture. It looks like I may save my money and get the D100 by the fall. I am sure the price of it will drop even lower by then as well.

With that being said, I am sure you can still get great results from the D70 and you will see many sampled photos that are fantastic.

The D-100 has a tough body, and you can buy the mb 100 battery grip for twice the battery power.. But the d-70 has a higher flash sync, (important for indoor flash)... i have only held the d-70 but for a few hundred bucks more i would lean twords the d-100..they said the d-100 was underexposed also but i have yet to find it, i can assume the suth sayers are saying the same about the d-70.. belive me you can adjust for propoer exposure...good luck

I'm with Dale.

However the D100 do underexpose a bit, but not enough in my opinion. This is why I always shoot with EV-0.3 to 1.0 in strong sunlight.
The body itself, in this case, is not that important. Use your money on a great lens instead. This is where you will see the difference!
Lenses are longlasting, bodies not!
