Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum. I have been shooting with D70 for 6 mths. I have a Fotar CPL which does not do it's job ie) reaps havoc on the light metering system and fails to do the usual polariser things - saturate blue sky, give better definition between sky / land elements etc.

Are there any fellow D 70 shooters out there who have CPl's which they are happy with? My current advise is a Hoya CPL. I'm refering to the 18 -70mm DX lens in particular.

Please help me - I need it! :?

I'm not really sure of what you speak exactly but I'm wondering if you have linear filter as opposed to a circular filter.

linear polorizers will wreak havoc with the metering systems.

I have a Circular Polorizer that works great.

Go to The Filter Connection for hte best place to get them . . .if you in the U.S.
