My girlfriend and I, in merging our lives, are trying to merge our equipement as well. I wanted to use her Metz 45 series flash on my Nikon D70, but was told by a fellow at B&H here in NY that they arent compatible. Is this true? Whatparts should i look for? Seems in a world of accessories that there must be something to connect 2 huge selling products like these.

Thanks in advance,

Go to google and search fo Metz, Do the translation to english, On their web site they give the SCA 3402 M3 adopter to mate Your camara and flash. That is if You have a 45 CL-4 Flash. They do not really recomend that combination. I think it is probably due to the Camara i-flash feature will not function. They give a chartof what will work and what won't. If I were You I would just go ahead and get the SB800 flash to use on that camara. D70 with an 800 flash can not be improved on at all.
