Hello to all, this is my very first post. I have found a used Nikon D70s which the seller claims to be 2month old (it seems in pretty good condition). Would that be a "gray market" unit, for I do not remember the D70s being around in Europe in April. Is there a way to control. Finally how does the "gray market" work ? Thank you very much.

A buddy of mine produces videos on digital slr cameras. He bought a d70s to do a video and sold it (is selling it) shortly afterwards.True, it doesn't happen often that a camera so new gets sold used so quickly, but its possible. The camera was a US purchase, even though he is a Canadian.
