I want to know max trigger voltage for external flash for D 50.Thanks

dont know what it is myself, but suggest you check with Nikon digital at 1-800-NIKON-UX. to be safe using any off camera flash other than nikon that may have a higher than safe sync voltage, check the Wein Safe-Sync products. they have a voltage lowering resisitor that lowers any higher than safe sync voltages to a safe level. i believe that is 6v. I use the WEIN safe sync hot shoe to pc adapter with lowering resisitor with my D100 and SP monolights.

I can't say for sure but 100V or little more could be the right answer.
10V is safe for sure as i have used succesfully old National PE-357 flash with D50.
