I was wondering if anyone can help. I noticed the the EXIF data for images taken with most Nikon DSLRs doesn'tlist the ISO setting. Is that always the case?

The iso is embedded in the ISO. It may be that your reader is just not listing it. Try a different EXIF reader.

A shame that after acquiring the D50 for 3 weeks, I still haven't tried the bundled Nikon Project program.

But at least ACDSee 5.0 & Photoshop cannot read the ISO, while all other exposure info are readable.

Just wondering what's confidential about the ISO

Photoshop CS file info from D70 RAW file. I'd be surprised if it didn't show the same for the D50.

I don't much like Picture Project, the free download Nikon View is far better.
