I just got one yesterday from B&H. After looking over all the specifications, and what people wrote, I had certain expectations. Well, the lens is WAY beyond what I expected. One look through the viewfinder said it all!

I haven't taken any shots with it yet - first day to do that will be tomorrow. I'm curious how sharp it will be, but judging from what I've already seen, it's exactly what I wanted.

I haven't yet downloaded the Nikon Capture 4 software, but according to Nikon there is a special mode in the program to convert the "fisheye" image from this lens into more of a typical wide angle image (extreme wide angle). That's something else I need to try out, but first things first.
