Default tokina vs nikon

is there a big difference in the tokina lens vs the Nikon 12-24?

The Tokina is sharper but has more CA.

I have the Tokina and really like it. As TCav indicates, CA is a problem and flare is quite bothersome. CA can be corrected in post, but not flare.
