I found a nikkor 70-210 f4/5.6 af lense on ebay and i can get it for around 200 canadian. I want a well built lense because all i have right now is the d50 kit. I also want good image quality which im fairly sure this has, but the one concern is focus speed. Will it be really slow? or just not quite as quick? if this lense isn't good i may just end up picking up a cheap 70-300 G lense.

Hi,If you can get¬* that lens go for it.¬* Ken Rockwell has a neat write up about this lens on his site. From what I understand from Ken, this lens is superior to anything on the market currently in that range, unless you go with pro lenses.¬* Certainly better that the 70-300 G lens if you can live with the reduced range. Good luck.dberkham
