I'm looking for a lens wider than my 18-55 kit lens. Obviously, the 12-24 and 10-20 range are an option, but I'm wondering if there are discontinued prime lenses out there that covers the 10-15mm range that are NOT fisheye and cost less than $500. I've read several articles that says primes tend to be cheaper than zooms, but it doesn't look like that applies to wide angle lenses. My guess is it's because "wide" for 35mm is different from that of DSLR.
