Ok how about this for a combo Sigma AF 28-300/3.5-6.3 DG ASP Macro with a 1.4x or a 2X TCon ? Will it work and give me range for Wildlife shots ?

You'll lose autofocus at the long end because the tc's will makethe lenstoo slow at 300mm...seems like an awful lot of image quality sacrifice to me as well. You're not talking about a world-beater lens, image quality-wise,without a teleconverterin the first place, then to stick a converter and cost yourselfone or two f-stops, make the viewfinder evendarker and cost yourself autofocus. Soundslike a really bad mistaketo me. Dark viewfinder, sub-par 450mm or 600mm lens with no image stabilization and manual focus only- doesn't sound like a recipe for nature photographyof anything that moves.
