Default High resolution picture file thru Emailing

Hi,could anyone tell me how could I shrink my picture file which size is 2272*1704 and Fine quality into a smaller size . Picture file size with 2272*1704 and Fine quality giving me problem to share with my friends thru hotmail. Thanks.

Find a program that resize photos, like Lview, acdsee, compupic, PSP, PS etc . or maybe the software IN your camera can do this!!! Shot in smaller size (not optimal), or check the software for you camera.
That done, choose JPG and resize to the desired size and compress by 40 %.

I use two programs for my photo editing/resizing. CompuPic works great for most of my single picture editing needs and making thumbnailed web pages. Digital Photo Slide Show allows me to make autorun CD slideshows with my pics, and has a nice utility for batch resizing pics to appropriate sizes for web posting. I'd recommend CompuPic if you only want to resize a few, and the Picture Resizer utility that comes with Digital Photo Slide Show for batch processing an entire subdirectory of pics.
