Default Coolpix 885 rare effects

Hello all!!

After a travel by Turkey, I have noticed that my coolpix 885 camera has recorded a few rare effects and reflections that I have never seen before. Below you can find them:

1.- It contains 4 pictures taken with direct sunlight, showing a rare effect in the bottom of the picture. It seems like a saturation of the CCD.

2.- It contains 4 pictures with mulberry reflections on the bottom side of the picture. They were also taken with direct sunlight.

3.- Another 4 pictures taken with direct sunlight, at the same hours than the previous ones, but they dont show any problem, relflection or saturation.

Could anyone please help me?... May I have burned the CCD?... May the lenses be disaligned?... Or should I need any special lenses or filters to take pictures under strong sunlight situations?

Many thanks in advance,

Juan A. Espinosa

Seems to me that's because of the sun ray striking almost directly in your lense . Should be OK if you use a lense shade , IMO.
