Default Nikkon Coolpix l4

Does any-one know if there's a prolonged-exposure function on this type of camera? I'd like to be able to do some long night shots but don't know how. Cheers.

Welcome to the forums. From what I can see in Steve's Coolpix L4 Review, your camera doesn't have any manual exposure capabilities.

However, it's got a number of scene modes built in that will vary things like aperture and shutter speed to try and take better photos in specific conditions. I'd try the "Night Landscape" scene mode and see if that gets you the desired results.

Note that we have a Nikon Forum setup where you may be more likely to get some tips on using your L4. So, I've moved this thread there for you. Please let us know how well the Night Landscape Scene mode works when you get a chance to try it.
