Hello all,

I am a new photographer & i am new in this form too.. i got my first SLR Nikon d7000 with Lens VR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G few weeks ago & started took shoots randomly ..... I notice that photos which i take at night are more sharper then the photos i take in afternoon ....

As i am new in photography can any body suggest is this the max result i can get from Nikon D7000 in afternoon or it can be more sharper then this and m doing some mistake ?

I would first of all, change the AF-A setting for the cat shot. Go to AF-S and pick your focus point. The right of that shot has the most contrast and looks more in focus than the cat.
