Default Sigma lens

Has anyone tried Sigma 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DC (OS)* MACRO HSM.If yes, pls advise.

Any new lens that 'bumps or grinds' needs to be checked over by the shop

Has Fuji & Lumix superzoom cameras and loves their amazing capabilities

The Sigma lens is that they came with a lens hood. Canon, you should absolutely take note of that. The lens lack picture stabilization, which can be a issue at times. The Canon XT has its battle scars, but I still love it. The images that the camera produces pales in evaluation to what DSLRs shoot today, but it beats the socks off any point and shoot digital camera.
