Default Nikon 5700 problems/difficulties

I'm ready to upgrade my 2 Megpixel camera to a 5 Megpixel. I'm thinking on buying the Canon 5700, however before I buy this camera I want to check if there are people out here with problems or small remarks on this camera. Even the smallest remark is more then welcome !!
thanks !!

PS : I'm asking the same question in the Sony-group as I'm hesitating between Sony F-707 and Canon 5700 ...

Default I haven't heard anything about the Cannon 5700, but...

... so far I LOVE my Nikon 5700. All pictures are a little underexposed in full auto mode. I'm sure it can be adjusted with some easy settings, but I haven't bothered yet, I just lighten them up in Compupic Pro (which by the way is the absolute best image viewer/quick editor you can get. I have Photo Shop 7 and a slew of other photo programs which I never use any anymore since getting Compupic Pro. Try it, you will like it.
And... people who have negative comments about the electronic viewfinder... you're dismissed; after shooting a bunch of pics in both bright sunlight and low-light situations, I have grown to love it. Those optical viewfinders on other cameras, while fast and convienient, do not show when your camera has focused to your satisfaction.
