Default Magicstor 2.2GB

With my new cp 8700 i purchased a Magicstor 2.2GB CF 'microdrive' model 1022c.
Most of the time the setup works fine. Snap, save sap save etc.
However, some times when trying to view images the cp 8700 claims that it 'cant read card' to which the camera seems to 'crash'. I simply turn off then on, and all is well. I've not had it long, coming up for 2 months. Purchased abroad. I don't know wether this is the camera or the drive. Can anyone explain or shed light on the matter. Many thanks in advance.

Many thanks to you all.
