Default the best choice?

Mainly I specialized in architecture photography. What is your opinion of 8700 vs Minolta A2 to this kind of pictures. What camera is better to it?

For better wide angle coverage, go with the Minolta, its zoom lens covers from 28-200mm (1/2 stop faster than the Nikon lens), while the Nikon goes from 35 but extents to 280mm (but slower lens). For the kind of works that you do, you need more wide angle coverage than the extreme long focal, plus the Minolta have one of the finest EVF with about 922,000 pixel, very helpful for you in critical focus.

Newegg.com has the special price for the A2, @$1,099 but you get instant $200 rebate plus free fedex shipping.
