I am looking at ultracompact digital cameras and would really like one that has the ability to articulate/swivel (the Kyocera SL400R and the Nikon SQ both do this). I was suprised to see that Nikon only has info on the SQ in an archived section of the Nikon website - it's not offered as a featured camera, which leads me to wonder what's wrong with this camera? Why has Nikon already retired this model? Was it merely a test model and it didn't do well? Does anybody know...the rest of the story?

At first Nikon USA said it wasn't even coming to the U.S. Reason was they thought it was priced too high for the current market -- they were right.
