Default CP 4500/995/5000 using an external Speedlite (SB-28, etc)

I just got a 4500 and want to use my SB-28 with it, and I would appreciate any input on flash/camera settings. I know that auto-zoom and TTL are not supported, and the manual says to have the zoom set at 28mm or wider for maximum coverage. I assume the flash should be in manual mode, but what about f/stop settings? Do you set the camera to A or M modes, and use the corresponding f/stop setting from the camera on the flash? Does the camera sync at 1/60th, or can it sync higher? Set ISO at 100 on flash? What if you zoom the camera to between 50 and 85mm (35mm equivalent) for normal or portrait type of focal lengths? Can you then reset the zoom head position on the flash unit? Thanks in advance!

Got the CP5700 and an old SB-24, which works great together.

I simply set the zoomhead to 24mm, TTL - mode (I know!!!), iso 100 and the aperturesize always to 5.6 (everything on the lens). This works for me for all indoorshoting.

Try for yourself
