I am looking at purchasing the CP 8800 from BestChoiceDigital.com.

I am looking now at the external flash and a battery. I can not get an extra lens at this time. Is there anything else that I "cant do without" right away?

Beware of BestChoiceDigital.com. The product I saw on their website was sold without a battery and a battery charger. This may mean that it does not carry a USA warranty. The costto separately purchase abattery and charger may be expensive. Try purchasing from buydig.com. I boughtmy CP 8800there and found them to be reasonably priced and gave fast delivery. Look at the posts in the "buying 8800, now where to buy from" thread. Good luck.

Check this site out...

..and then look up profeel on epinions .. you'll automatically find out that this online store will serve you properly.

As for the battery and external flash...that's really about it, unless you want to get an extra battery for the camera in case you're on a picture taking spree (and your first battery runs out of juice).

Actually..there is one more thing. I'm not sure if the camera comes with a memory card, which is essential for the camera's operation. And if it does come with one, it's probably going to be a small one in capacity, like 32 megabytes. So maybe you might want to get a card with bigger capacity, such as 256 megabytes, or 512 megabytes.

get a nextphoto lens converter to 62mm and a UV filter, mainly to protect the lens.
