Default Repair-Zoom cracked off

I dropped my Nikon coolpiz 880 when it was on...so the builtin zoom lense was extended fully...and it broke off.
Am I screwed or what?
I am in CT. and bought this from Steve's Digicams.
Any suggested repair facilities?

Screwed? No. But I doubt they will fix it under warranty without charging you for it. You can't exactly say that the lens fell off if you know it got dropped.

You'll find Nikon service info here:
