Default Nikon 5700 set up user sets

I have read the book over and over and the best I can do is change the present user setting to a differient number.

You must be able to set up a new set of user setting. Any info would be helpful

Default Also remember that the user sets are not truly Global!

Taken directly from the Nikon Digital Support Site:

The User Set feature of Coolpix cameras is a powerful feature allowing you to quickly switch between groups of settings without working with the camera menus.
The following items can be adjusted and saved in a user set:

White Balance
Metering Mode
Continuous Mode
BSS (Best Shot Selector)
Image Adjustment
Saturation Control
Image Sharpening

When one of these settings is selected in a User Set it will become active when that set is selected. For instance: if the White Balance setting for User Set 1 is set to "Daylight" and the setting for User Set 2 is "Incandescent" you can easily switch between the two sets by pressing the "FUNC" button and rotating the command dial.
Some settings are "Global" and when changed will change all User Sets. Global settings are:

Exposure Mode
Sensitivity (ISO)
Manual Focus
Shooting Mode Settings

These items are global across all Sets. So, for instance, if you are set to User Set 1 and change the Focus to Manual Mode, User Set 2 will now also be set to Manual focus
