Default Flash bracket CP995 and Pentax flash

I have a CP995 camera and a Pentax Zoom flash I gave @ $200 US for @ 5 years ago. I hate to just throw it away, but would like to use it on my 995. Every thing I see with a hot shoe is for a Nikon or Suncast flash. Is ther such a creature for my Pentak Flash?

Your Pentex may not be used with Nikon in the TTL mode. However, since every flash supports the most basic ISO mode. That is, your Pentex can still be used in the manual mode. Moreover, if your Pentex has a sensor on it, it could also be used in the Automatic (A) mode. There is an External Flash section in my 995 user guide. Please take a look at it for possible accessories.

Default More places to look...

I'm not familiar with the Pentex but, here's a couple of other good sites to look for info on your question. The thing to be most careful of is the trigger voltage on older flashes being over 6v, which many say is the max for Coolpix cameras. PatiO.
