I picked up one of my newspaper's Nikon Coopix 4300s today for an assignment and when I turned it on, the shutter came out only halfway and began clicking. Does anyone have any idea what I'm looking at here as far as repairs, replacement? The camera is about two years old and has been used steadily, although not hard.

The lens came half way out you mean? Sounds like somebody damaged the lens, most likely needs to be replaced. I have a guy you can send it to for repair if you want to email me.
