What is the best setting on the coolpix 5400 for the Sharpen setting? should I leave it on auto or put it on off or what? Im shooting in 5MP FINE mode.. I assume this is good enough to get nice prints from since the HIGH mode take up too much space on the card..

If you plan on doing post processing of your photos, it's usually recommended that you leave the camera's internal sharpening settings off. Since the amount and type of sharpening is usually dependent on the final output use of the photo, it is left as the last step in the post processing workflow.

If you print right from the card, you'll have to experiment with the different sharpening amounts that your camera offers and see which one (s) look the best to you.
